Our battle in Iran is so important to understand a 2nd letter followup to my first is valuable. This is not a new war. When Iran took our embassy in 1979 that was an act of war. Feckless Jimmy Carter was impotent except for a failed rescue attempt that killed American soldiers in a helicopter collision. Iran has been warring against the US ever since. In 1983 a suicide bomber with a truck bomb murdered 241 US soldiers on a peacekeeping mission to Lebanon with no retaliation from the US. Iran was found responsible in US courts with a huge amount awarded using frozen Iranian assets. Iran is highly suspected to have provided funding and bomb making information. Without funding and weapons help from Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah aren’t capable of being a significant threat to Israel. Iran has killed over 2,600 US troops through IEDs and maimed many more. Please note that in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel some US citizens were also murdered.
10% of Muslims are Shia. Iran is ruled by Shia mullahs. The Iranian rulers are called Twelver Shia because they believe a 12th currently hidden and all powerful messianic Imam will emerge in a time of great conflict to bring the entire Earth to Islam. Use of a nuclear weapon would bring about great conflict. Iran since 1979 has threatened the US and Israel in it’s constitution, it’s words, and actions.
Fools who don’t believe the mullahs would use a nuclear weapon are no different than the total fools who didn’t heed Hitler’s Mein Kempf, which is his blueprint for the Holocaust. This is why the Democrat Party can’t be trusted with national power again. Under Obama and Biden Iran was only appeased.
