Dear Editor,
The November mid-term election is vital for our country and state. It is time to do some documented research, stop watching Fox (not) News, and do what is best to get the United States of America back on track. Under Donald Trump and the Republican led Congress our country has become a disaster both nationally and internationally. Donald Trump mistakenly believes as President that he has unlimited power. This is so far from the truth if you study the US Constitution, which includes checks and balances of all three branches. The problem is the Congress is controlled by the Republicans who, for some reason, refuse to stand up and do what is right and force Donald Trump to follow the Constitution. Even though the Democratic party does not have all the answers, they are our only solution to get our country back from the clear craziness of the Trump administration. The economy is a mess, ICE continues to be out-of-control, our international relationship with traditional allies is a disaster, we are in a horrible war that serves no purpose but is costing a fortune, our national debt is growing by the minute, people who really need help and aid are ignored while the richest in our country continue to increase their wealth. How can we possibly hope to stop this? Vote Blue.
That holds true in our state elections also. We do NOT want a Trump “want to be” as our next governor. Tom Tiffany would be a total disaster, just as Trump has been. His voting record shows that he is too much like Trump to be a good choice for Wisconsin. A vote for David Crowley would help keep our state going in the right direction. Also, voting Blue for our state legislators would give the new governor backing to help our state.
I have done the research; I have studied our history and constitution. We need our country back.
