Dear Editor,
Megalomania does not know how to back down, negotiate or compromise. When millions continue to protest and poll numbers go down, tyrants become desperate. With revelations continuing about trafficking and raping women and girls by some of the most powerful people in the world, megalomania can resort to extreme measures to distract the nation and hold on to power. There’s a history of manufactured pretexts for war and repression. The Gulf of Tonkin incident was fabricated to justify sending US troops into Vietnam. The specter of WMD was trumped-up for invading Iraq. In 1933 the German parliament was burned down and used to justify imprisoning, torturing and killing people who didn’t bow to the fascist dictator. We are watching. We will not be fooled if some huge false-flag 9-11 type of incident is used to justify crushing dissent. Millions of Americans have our eyes open and are steadfast together.
