Monticello/New Glarus scored eight runs in the first, added five in the second and went on to handle Pecatonica 16-3 in Six Rivers softball action Monday.
The Vikings picked up five hits in the battle. The five players who got them were Kiaya York, Jenna Kurschner, Brooklyn Muench, Cayla Doescher and Katelynne Jorenby.
Muench, Jenna Kurschner and Chloe Burkeland each had an rbi. Jenna Kurschner and Katelynne Jorenby both went two innings for the Vikings in the circle. Both issued two strikeouts.
The Olsons led M/NG. Heidi pitched the win and hammered a pair of triples. Ashley Olson and Molly Olson both doubled and Molly homered.
