The Argyle/Black Hawk Warbirds were shut out by Pecatonica in a 15- 0 Six Rivers East loss Tuesday.
Pecatonica got on the board in the top of the first inning after Reid Schlimgen grounded into a fielder’s choice, Cooper Schaepter walked, and Linden Ula hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
Pecatonica added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when an error scored one run, Schraepfer singled, scoring two runs, and Ashton McNett doubled, scoring one run.
Pecatonica added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Kale Hendrickson singled down the left field line, Austin Enloe singled to center field, McNett walked, an d the Warbirds committed an error, each scoring one run.
Mitchell Johnsen started on the mound for Argyle/Black Hawk. He allowed four hits and seven runs (four earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking one.
Chandler Johnson, Jackson Berget and Ole Isley also took a turn on the mound.
Ashton McNett took the mound first for the Vikings. He did not allow a run or hit over three innings, striking out two and walking three.
Jackson Berget led the Warbirds with one hit in three at bats.
Pecatonica totaled nine hits in the game. Kale Hendrickson led with two hits in three at bats. Luke Leonard and Cooper Schraepfer each drove in three runs for Pecatonica.
Also getting hits for the Vikings were Kashton Gross, Austin Enloe and Martin Anderson.
