On Tuesday afternoon, August 25, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Upland Hills Health Hospital to open their new Emergency Department. The entire construction project has expanded and upgraded spaces for the Upland Hills Health Lab, Imaging, Urgent Care, and the Emergency Department. Patients will now experience benefits in comfort and care from a larger, state-of-the-art Emergency Department, enhanced imaging services including ultrasounds and mammograms.
To quantify the increased capacity, the former Emergency Department and Lab area was approximately 13,500 sq ft and the new area is 21,500 sq ft! The public was invited and light refreshments were served as guests were able to mingle around the new facilities to view the expansion.
