Upland Hills Health recently marked the retirements of two longtime leaders who have made lasting contributions to the organization.

Brad Laufenberg of Highland retired from the Board of Trustees in January after 16 years of service – the maximum allowed under current bylaws. A steady voice on the executive committee for many years, Brad played an important role in guiding key financial decisions. His leadership and dedication will be greatly missed.

Karl Pustina also retired at the end of January following an extraordinary 40-year career with Upland Hills Health, most notably serving as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. His steady leadership and financial expertise helped guide the organization through decades of growth and change. He was honored at a recent retirement reception and will be recognized again at the annual awards night in March.

Upland Hills Health extends its sincere gratitude to both Brad and Karl for their years of commitment and service. Their leadership has helped shape the organization’s strong foundation, and they leave behind a legacy that will continue to benefit the communities we serve for years to come.
