Dear Editor,
At a recent panel discussion at Merrimac and Main, I learned that all the newspapers in surrounding communities (Platteville, Darlington, Cuba City, Richland Center) have been bought out by a company in Augusta, Georgia. The same company approached the Reilly brothers, but they said NO.
Three cheers for them! We need to really appreciate and support our locally owned and controlled hometown newspaper.
