May 12, (5:09 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of Carbon Monoxide alarms activated at a residence in the 100 block of Clifton Street in the Village of Cobb. The Cobb-Eden Fire Department, Cobb First Responders, Highland EMS, Montfort EMS, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. The presence of elevated CO levels was confirmed by responders. No injuries were reported and utilities were contacted to resolve the issue.
(9:44 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on US Highway 18- 151 near the intersection of County Road HHH in the Township of Ridgeway. Subsequent to an investigation, the operator, Andrea Hernandez Reyes, age 26, was arrested on criminal charges of Operating After Revocation (due to OWI conviction) and Bail Jumping – Misdemeanor. Reyes was also held on an active arrest warrant. Reyes was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charges and warrant.
(9:45 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a request for a welfare check. The subject of the check was found to have an active arrest warrant. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies made contact with the subject, Todd D Deneen, age 54, at a residence in the 400 block of Wisconsin Street in the Village of Linden. Deneen was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked.
May 13, (1:24 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of Country Road I in the Town of Highland. Thie Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Alliant Energy responded to the scene. Hasse’s assisted with the removal of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
May 14, (10:57 a.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 5000 block of Country Road II in the Town of Highland. The Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Hasse’s assisted with the removal of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
(5:15 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a brush fire out of control in the 300 block of County Road K in the Township of Moscow. The Hollandale Fire Department, Hollandale First Responders, and Blanchardville EMS responded to the scene. Fire was knocked down without injuries.
(8:28 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 7000 block of US Highway 18-151 in the Town of Ridgeway. As a result of the stop Lee J. Kaul, age 47, of Ridgeway was arrested for Operating While Revoked (REV DUE TO ALC/CONT SUBST/REFUSAL), Possess Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Narcotic Drug. Kaul is also being held on a Probation Hold through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Kaul was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charges.
(8:31 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1800 block of County Road W, in the Township of Waldwick. The Mineral Point Fire Department, Mineral Point EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Bossert’s assisted with the removal of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
(9:26 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle near the intersection of US Highway 18 and Lisa St. in the Town of Dodgeville. As a result of the stop Ronald E. Slater, age 56, of Platteville was arrested for Possess Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture, Compound, Convert, Produce, or Store Methamphetamine – Presence of Child Less Than 14 Years Old.
Subsequent to the investigation, Rayven E. Stanisch, age 30, of Linden was arrested for Possess Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture, Compound, Convert, Produce, or Store Methamphetamine.
As well as Amy M. Gregory, age 38, of Linden was arrested for Possess Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture, Compound, Convert, Produce, or Store Methamphetamine. Gregory was also held on a Probation Hold through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Stanisch and Gregory were both transported to the Iowa County Jail where they were booked on the charges.
May 15, (12:55 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a two vehicle crash on US Highway 14 near the intersection of Hayward Crossing Road in the Township of Arena. The Arena Fire Department, Arena EMS, Spring Green EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. No injuries were reported and Larry’s Towing assisted with removal of involved vehicles. Subsequent to an investigation, the operator of one of the involved vehicles, Cameron J. Judd, age 20, was arrested on criminal charges of Possession of THC, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resist or Obstruct an Officer. Judd was also ordered to be detained by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections as he was found to be on active probation supervision. Judd was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges.
(5:44 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of an ongoing domestic disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of Ridge Street in the City of Mineral Point. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies and Mineral Point Police Officers responded to the location. Subsequent to an investigation, Nathan A. Segebrecht, age 23, was arrested on criminal charges of Disorderly Conduct – domestic related, Bail Jumping – misdemeanor, and Knowingly Violate a Domestic Abuse Injunction. Segebrecht was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges. (7:57 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a female subject found unconscious outside a business in the 400 block of East Main Street in the Village of Avoca. Avoca EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. After being evaluated and released by EMS personnel, an investigation was conducted, and the female subject, Dana L. Wesoloski, age 41, was arrested on a criminal charge of Operating While Under the Influence, second offense. Wesoloski was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charge.
May 17, (6:29 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted an arrest attempt at an address on Shifflet Road in the County of Sauk subsequent to a criminal investigation. Malachi M. Matteson, age 17, was arrested for criminal charges of Substantial Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Bail Jumping – misdemeanor. Matteson was transported to the Iowa County Jail. Sauk County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest.
May 18, (4:50 a.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center took a report of an electrical fire in the 2400 block of County Road NN in the Township of Clyde. Lone Rock Fire Department, Lone Rock EMS and Alliant all responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
