The Barneveld Fire Department and Barneveld EMS responded to the scene. The incident was cleared with no injuries reported.
(8:01 p.m.), An out-of-control controlled burn near County Road F and Peterson Road in the Township of Brigham was reported to the Iowa County Communications Center. Responding agencies included the Barneveld Fire Department, Barneveld EMS, and the Hollandale Fire Department. The fire was extinguished, and the scene was cleared with no injuries.
March 25, (4:30 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Centers received a report regarding a report of smoke in a building in the 300 block of North Iowa Street in the City of Dodgeville. The Dodgeville Fire Department, Dodgeville EMS, Dodgeville Police, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. Alliant Energy assisted with resolving the issue. No injuries were reported.
(9:19 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on County Road Y near the intersection of Section Line Road in the Township of Dodgeville. As a result of an investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Marissa J. Jorgenson, age 28, was arrested for criminal charges of Operate While Under the Influence, first offense with passenger less than 16 years old. Jorgenson was transported to the Iowa County Jail where she was booked on the charge.
March 26, (2:44 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report regarding a brush fire on State Road 80-133 in the Township of Pulaski. The Avoca Fire Department, Avoca EMS, Avoca Police, and Department of Resources responded to the location. No injuries were reported.
(4:20 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report regarding an electrical fire on Meadow Brooke Rd. in the Township of Pulaski. The Avoca Fire Department, Avoca EMS, Avoca Police, and Department of Resources, and Alliant Energy responded to the location. No injuries were reported.
(7:53 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on State Road 23 near the intersection of Lovers Ln. in the Township of Dodgeville. As a result of an investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Terence R. Hawk, age 38, from Muscoda, was arrested for Operate While Under the Influence. Hawk was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charge.
March 27, (6:32 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a mutual aid request for a structure fire in the Town of Mazomanie. Arena Fire Department responded to the location. No injuries were reported.
(10:22 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report regarding a grass fire on Pinnacle Road in the town of Arena. The Arena Fire Department, Arena EMS, Department of Natural Resources, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the location. No injuries were reported.
March 29, (4:45 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US Highway 18 near Blue River Road in the Township of Eden. Following an investigation, the operator, Germanio Gonzalez Tolentino, age 30, was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (2nd Offense), Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License (3rd Offense), and Ignition Interlock Device Tampering/Failure to Install as Ordered by the Court. Gonzalez Tolentino was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charges.
March 30, (8:09 a.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of North Montgomery Street and West Division Street in the City of Dodgeville. The Dodgeville Fire Department, Dodgeville EMS and the Dodgeville Police Department responded to the location. No injuries were reported, and Randy’s Towing assisted in removal of the vehicles.
(1:11 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of carbon monoxide alarms activated at a residence in the 500 block of Ford Drive in the Village of Barneveld. The Barneveld Fire Department, Dodgeville EMS, Barneveld EMS and the Barneveld Police Department responded to the location. The issue was resolved and no injuries were reported.
(3:20 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a brush fire near the roadway on US Highway 18 in the 1300 block. The Cobb-Eden Fire Department, Cobb-Eden First Responders, Montfort Fire Department, Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
(8:09 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on US Highway 18 near the intersection of Lisa Street in the City of Dodgeville. The Dodgeville Police Department assisted on the stop. Subsequent to an investigation, the operator, Bo W Bahler, age 22, was arrested for criminal charges of Operate After Revocation (Due to OWI Conviction) and Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device. Bahler was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges.
(8:43 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a brush fire at a residential location in the 6300 block of US Highway 14 in the Township of Arena. The Arena Fire Department, Arena EMS, Wisconsin DNR Fire Response and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
(9:37 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a brush fire at a rural location in the 2300 block of Spring Creek Road in the Township of Brigham. The Barneveld Fire Department, Barneveld EMS, and Hollandale Fire Department responded to the location. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
(11:07 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a request for mutual aid from Blanchardville Fire Department regarding a brush fire in the 2500 block of Hill Lane in Green County. The Hollandale Fire Department responded to the location. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
