May 5, (12:02 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a one vehicle crash versus building in the 100 block of Main St in Township of Highland. The Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, and Highland Police Department responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
(3:27 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a two-vehicle crash on County Road K near Thousand Rd in the Township of Brigham. The Barneveld Fire Department, Barneveld EMS, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. No injuries were reported and Disch Auto assisted with the removal of the vehicles.
May 6, (4:49 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a mutual aid request from the Avoca Police Department in the 100 block of 4th St in the Township of Pulaski. Muscoda Police Department and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Avoca EMS was requested to standby at their station. During the investigation, Dustyn L. Ledlow, age 25, from Avoca was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Battery or Threat to Judge. Ledlow was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges.
May 7, (9:43 p.m.), An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 200 block of County Road YZ in the City of Dodgeville. As a result of the stop Jose A. Apolinar Narciso, age 29, of Rockford, IL was arrested for Operating with Control Substance (1st), Operate without Valid License, and Possession of THC. Apolinar Narciso was released to a responsible party.
May 8, (9:42 a.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a Crash/Automated Phone alert in the 6000 block of County Road HHH in the Township of Ridgeway. The Ridgeway Fire Department, Ridgeway First Responders, Barneveld EMS, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area. A phone was recovered, though no accidents or injuries were reported.
(2:00 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of wires down in the 300 block of Main Street in the Town of Highland. Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, Highland Police Department, and Alliant Energy responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
(5:52 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a single motorcycle crash in the 7000 block of Hay Lane Rd in the Township of Pulaski. The Avoca Fire Department, Avoca EMS, Lone Rock EMS, Avoca Police Department, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Med Flight was also enroute to the scene. The sole occupant was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. During the investigation, Joshua R. Jerrett, age 43, from Montfort was charged with Operating While under the Influence; 1st. VP Motors assisted with the removal of the motorcycle.
(5:56 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a Crash/Automated Phone alert in the 5000 block of County Road II in the Town of Highland. The Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area. A phone was recovered, though no accidents or injuries were reported.
May 9, (6:46 a.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a vehicle fire near the intersection of State Road 23 and County Road ZZ in the Town of Dodgeville. The Dodgeville Fire Department and Dodgeville EMS, and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. No injuries reported. Nachreiner Auto Care LLC assisted with the removal of the vehicle.
(2:17 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a brush fire in the 1600 block of County Road BH in the Township of Eden. The Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, Cobb Fire Department, Cobb First responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
(11:02 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a Crash/Automated alert in the area of Badger Hollow Rd and Blue River Rd in the Township of Eden. It was found that a UTV had rolled. The Cobb Fire Department, Cobb First Responders, Montfort EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Hasse’s assisted with the removal of the UTV. No injuries were reported.
Subsequent to the investigation, Adam R. Laufenberg, age 39, of Highland was arrested and cited for Operate ATV/UTV While Under the Influence of an Intoxicant, ATV/UTV Intoxicated Operation Refusal to Provide Required Sample/Submit to Chemical Tests, and Operate All-Terrain Vehicle or Utility Terrain Vehicle in a Careless Manner. Laufenberg was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charged and later released to a responsible party.
May 11, (4:49 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of an odor of gas at a location in the 100 block of East Orbison Street in the Village of Barneveld. The Barneveld Fire Department, Barneveld EMS and Barneveld Police Department responded to the location. No injuries were reported. Madison Gas and Electric responded and assisted at the scene.
(8:25 p.m.), The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a shed on fire at a farm location in the 2500 block of South Clay Hill Road in the Township of Ridgeway. The Ridgeway Fire Department, Ridgeway First Responders, Hollandale Fire Department, Dodgeville Fire Department, Barneveld EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
