St. Patrick’s Day is March 17. Our area has several parties and celebrations scheduled to celebrate the Irish. Congratulations to the Dodgeville Co-Op Gymnastics team as they won the State Championship in Division 2 last weekend in Wisconsin Rapids. Schools in the co-op are Iowa-Grant, Highland, Dodgeville and Mineral Point.
The Iowa-Grant boys basketball team had a fantastic Regional game at Iowa-Grant on Friday against Cuba City. It was a good season,. but it came to an end Saturday night as they played #1 Darlington at Darlington. March Madness continues as we will see who goes to boys state from our area after this weekend.
Jim and Linda Kite revently visited family in sunny Chino Valley, Arizona. They had a wonderful time at the home of Chad and Ericka and their grandchildren Casen, Weston and Sutton.
This weeks remarkable club is the Southwest Wisconsin All Terrain Club. It was a wonderful day as the big crowd enjoyed all the activities and good food at the S.W.A.T. Annual Fundraiser on March 7 at the Rewey Fire Station. A big thank you to all the S.W.A.T. Club members for the great day and all you do for our entire community all year long. You are greatly appreciated. Also thanks to everyone who came to Rewey to support the S.W.A.T. Club. New members are always welcome.Just contact a current member for information on joining.
