Congratulations to members of the Iowa-Grant FFA Chapter as they recently competed at the State Livestock Judging Contest in Arlington. The team did very good, finishing 3rd out of 30 teams, The top individual for Iowa-Grant was Cole Schauff, placing 3rd. Other team members were: Blake Schauff, Grant Schauff and Chelsey Mueller. Great job – keep up the good work judging!
Gary and Sharon Withrow and several of Gary’s siblings enjoyed lunch at Tower Junction. They were there to celebrate his sister Pat’s birthday and enjoy being together.
Mary and Jerry Ogden celebrated Mother’s Day on Saturday with their children and Mary’s sisters. It’s always nice for families to be together.

Another garage sale is in the books! Thanks to the Rewey Fire Department for the use of the big tent. It was a life saver again. So much wind!

Thanks to the ladies and one guy who helped me during set up and the sale – Bonnie, Joann, Marilyn, Ruth, Tracy and her husband Brian. Thank you to everyone who donated all the treasurers. Without all of you I wouldn’t be able to continue with saving cats and kittens. Many heartfelt thanks to al lof you.

Richard Schambow is turning 88 on May 19. He was known as the Ice Cream Man many years ago. He was employed by Nelson Ice Cream Co. in Montfort and drove the Kilby’s Ice Cream Truck – also a bus driver for Iowa-Grant for years. Now he makes his home at Room C231 – Skaalen – 400 North Morris St., Stoughton, WI 53589 if you’d like to send birthday wishes!
