Quinn keys Dodger win with five rbis

Skylar Quinn swung a huge bat for the Dodgeville in their 10-7 SWC win over Lancaster Friday.

Quinn drove in five runs including a grand slam in a six run first. Then her bunt drove in a run in the sixth that broke a 7-7 tie and the Dodgers held on for the win.

Dodgeville got on the board in the top of the first inning. Addison Reilly singled for the first run. Brielle Walmer drew a walk for a second run then Quinn unloaded over the centerfield fence.

The Dodgers added a run in the second when Alana Bradley doubled down the left field line.

The Dodgers took the lead in the top of the sixth inning when Quinn laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Emma Dougherty singled to center field for rbis.

Brienna Wasley earned the pitching win for the Dodgers. The hurler gave up one hit and no runs over three innings, striking out two with no walks. Wasley relieved Kendra Brom. Brom surrendered six hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out none and walking five.

The Dodgers tallied 11 hits in the game. Brom, Bradley, and Reilly each collected two hits. Tia Crutackbaugh rounded out the eight hit attack with a double
