The Mineral Point golf team finished in seventh place Monday at the 2026 Green County Open Monday played at the Monroe Golf and Country Club. Mineral Point shot a team score of 342 in a meet in which fifteen teams participated.
Monona Grove won the event with a team score of 314. Cuba City/SW/B finished in second place six shots back at 320. Cuba City/SW/B’s Isaac Wiegman was medalist shooting a four-over 74 on the par-70 course. Mineral Point Seniors Gaige Godfrey and Drew Aschliman shot 76 and 77, respectively.
