Mikayla Lathrop struck out 10 batters, but Dodgeville fell to Platteville 4-1 in SWC play Thursday. Lathrop gave up six hits and four runs over six innings while walking two. She fell victim to a lack of runs.
The Dodgers tied the game in the third when Emma Dougherty tripled in Lathrop who had singled for one of her team leading three hits.
Huser earned the win for Platteville. The starter gave up three hits and one run over five innings, striking out two and walking four. Leadoff hitter Lathrop led Dodgeville with three hits in three at bats. Dougherty had the lone rbi.
Lathrop, Dougherty and Skylar Quinn had the five Dodger hits.
