Dodgeville saw some late runs turn into a SWC loss to Prairie du Chien 5-3 on Thursday.
The Dodgers opened the scoring in the first when Alana Bradley grounded out to drive in a run.
Prairie du Chien tied the game at one in the bottom of the first.
In the bottom of the third, Prairie du Chien broke up the tie with three runs. Then an error followed to extend the lead to 5-1.
Kendra Brom took the loss for Dodgeville Varsity Dodgers. She went all six innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out 10 and walking five.
Brienna Wasley, Bradley, and Emma Dougherty each had a hit for the Dodgers. Wasley led Dodgeville with two rbis.
