Jentry Olson pitched a solid 6 1/3 innings but it was his bat that provided the deciding run as Dodgeville got past Fennimore 6-5 in a non-conference game Thursday.
Olson’s sacrifice fly with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh gave them a walk-off win.
The Dodgers took a 1-0 lead in the third. Bryce Crubugh-Lockard singled, advanced on a ground out, took third on a wild pitch and scored when Jayce Halverson lofted an rbi sacrifice fly.
Fennimore jumped back into the lead in the top of the fourth inning after pitcher Grant Biba grounded out, and Jude Kinney hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
The Dodgers took the lead back back in the bottom of the frame. Andrew Hesseling singled to center field, and Crubaugh-Lockard grounded into a fielder’s choice with each resulting in a run.
Jack Graber pounded a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the fifth to make it 4-1. Blake Stodola singled and scored on an error for the fifth Dodger run.
Fennimore tied the game in the top of the seventh on a single by Jack Sheckler, a walk by Cory Dresen, and an error.
Nate Johnson earned the win for the Dodgers by retiring the final two Eagles hitters, ending it with a strikeout.
Olson started on the mound for the Dodgers. He allowed five hits and five runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking five. Graber also appeared in relief for the Dodgers.

Lockard, Graber, Olson, and Stodola each collected two hits. Crubaugh- Lockard, Graber, Olson, Hesseling, and Halverson each drove in one run. With the win the Dodgers moved to a 12-1 record.
