The premiere of a Discover Wisconsin episode on Mineral Point will be shown at the Opera House at 5:30 p.m. April 9.
The free showing allows the community to see the episode before it airs statewide.
"This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and see how Mineral Point will be showcased to viewers across the state and beyond," said Cory Graber-Bennett, executive director of the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce. "We’re excited for the community to be the first to see it."
The Mineral Point Tourism Commission partnered with the Chamber for the episode titled Mineral Point: Rooted in Land, Crafted by Hand.
It will air on April 18 at 5:30 p.m. on WKOW and will also be available on YouTube.
Filming throughout the city started in 2024 and wrapped up in 2025.
"I have seen the episode, and it captures so many aspects of Mineral Point, from farming to galleries, restaurants and events," Graber-Bennett said. "It really gives a great feel for the community."
Mineral Point was last featured on Discover Wisconsin in 2018.
Each season, the show produces 18 episodes that air across Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana and North and South Dakota. It also streams online at discoverwisconsin.com
Social media is also part of the marketing campaign that encourages tourism in the state.
