Mary Pamela Egli, age 77, of Mazomanie, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 4, 1948, in Dodgeville, Wis., the daughter of Donald and Ann (Schaaf) Cutler.

Mary grew up in Ridgeway and graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1966. After high school, she started her family and spent her early adult years pouring her energy and love into her children. On January 15, 1977, she married William Egli at “The Little Brown Church” in Nashua, Iowa. Bill and Mary resided in Cross Plains and later moved to Mazomanie while raising their seven children. For over 30 years she worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier in Cross Plains. In her free time, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time in her greenhouse. A lifelong reader, she loved any good story she could find. She and Bill spent many years after retirement at Smokey Hollow Campground with friends and family. Mary enjoyed hosting family gatherings and holidays while cooking way too much food for everyone. Her pies were loved by all, particularly by Bill. Spending time with her family was most important, especially with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her sons, Steven Walls, Christopher (Sherilyn) Walls, Charles (Deb) Egli and Thomas (Brenda) Egli; daughters, Heather (Michael) Anstett, Shawn (Brian) Hebl and Virginia (Steve) Egli; 19 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Fellenz; brother, Timothy Cutler; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur; parents, Ann and Donald; and her husband, Bill.
