Highland had a 3-2 lead over Juda/Albany in the third inning but J/A went on to take a 12-3 win in a Six Rivers game Friday.
Cora Healy-Dougherty grounded out to tie the game in the bottom of the second then rbi singles from Ava Michek and Brinleigh Bollant gave the Cardinals a 3-2 lead in the third.
J/A went on to score one in the fourth and sixth along with four in the fifth and seventh.
Sumaryn Halverson was in the circle for the complete game for the Cardinals. She surrendered 19 hits and 12 runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking none. Halverson set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Highland with two hits in four at bats. Other hits came from Bollant, Michek, Healy-Dougherty, Faith Hoffman and Marissa Biba.
