Iowa-Grant used a strong mound effort to take down Boscobel 6-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.
Maddox Fisher and Hayden Aultman each pitched for the Panthers.
Iowa-Grant got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Ayson Speth walked, and Boscobel committed an error.
Fisher earned the win for Iowa- Grant. The righty surrendered three hits and no runs over four innings, striking out six and walking none.
Aultman tossed three innings of zero-run ball in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out three and walking one.
Everett Zimmer, Cash Anderson, and Speth each drove in one run for Iowa-Grant Varsity Baseball. Zimmer led the seven hit attack with a 2×4 performance.
Treaton Loeffelholz, Myles Petit and Brock Hinderman also had hits for the Panthers.
