There is one contested race and two districts needing write-ins as the Iowa Couty Board election draws little interest for candidates.
In District 3 Zorba and Jody Putz Miller have filed as candidates. That district includes the Avoca and Muscoda areas.
Nicole Welsh, a Highland resident, has filed as a registered write-in for that area in District 5 as no one filed papers for the seat.
Also vacant is District 18 which encompasses a portion of Mineral Point.
