Ronda Christiansen is the director of the Iowa County CAP Food Pantry and Thrift Shop (through the Community Action program) in Dodgeville. She and her staff take care of many clients and for some she goes above and beyond the norm as they need special assistance, such as Ashley Gillette and her daughter Haliegh. They came to the area in 2017 and Haliegh, a special needs student, is now 11 1/2 and attends Mineral Point Schools.
Ashley wanted to do something special for Ronda, so she contacted the Dodgeville Chamber of Commerce and new Executive Assistant Hannah Mikrut took over. She acquired a bouquet of flowers for Ashley to present Ronda. That took place on Tuesday, September 7 at the Food Pantry/Thrift Store.
