Farmers markets really do bring people together. And it’s a chance to meet directly with the grower, maker, and/or producer. Given the value you get, the price is just right.
There are 4 in Iowa County, definitely not a carbon copy (if you don’t know what that is, look it up) of each other.
Market Start dates: Mineral Point starts Saturday, May 2 on Saturdays from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Watertower Park, Business Highway 151 at Madison Street; Dodgeville starts Saturday, May 9 on Saturdays from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. at 327 N. Iowa Street; Ridgeway starts Sunday, May 10 on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ballpark Shelter, 299 Hughitt Street.
*The exception being the NEW Dream Makers Night Market: Sunday, June 14 in Barneveld at Memorial Park, 304 County Hwy ID – 2nd Sunday each month, June – September from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
