Emma Dougherty homered and doubled for the Dodgers but visiting Mount Horeb survived to take a 5-4 non-conference win at Wilson Park Tuesday.
The Dodgers had seven hits in the contest. Dougherty had a single and a double and drove in two runs. Skylar Quinn doubled while Mikayla Lathrop, Alana Bradley, Bree Wunnicke and Kendra Brom all singled.
Brom went the distance in the circle spacing 12 hits that led to five runs. She walked one.
Mount Horeb scored three in the third, one in the fourth and one in the seventh for the win. The Dodgers put two up in the first and one in the fourth for their total.
