Freshman Mikayla Lathrop pitched and hit the Dodgers to a 16-4 win over Lancaster in SWC softball Thursday.

Lathrop was perfect in three trips to the plate. Her day was highlighted with a three run home run over the centerfield wall in the second. She also powered a double in the fourth and started the day with a first inning single.

She turned in a complete game in the circle. Three of the four Flying Arrows runs were earned. Lathrop gave up six hits, walked none and struck out six.

An 11 run fourth put the game out of reach. It was a big inning for Addison Reilly who tripled in a run and doubled in two more. Another big blow in the frame was a two run home run by Skylar Quinn.

Also getting into the long ball act was Emma Dougherty who plated two runs.

The Dodgers totaled 13 hits. Lathrop was 3×3, Dougherty 2×4 with Reilly and Quinn 2×3. Brienna Wasley, Alana Bradley, Bree Wunnicke and Tia Crubaugh all had one hit.
