An unbelievable comeback was staged by the Dodgeville high school baseball team as they knocked off the number one seeded St. Croix Falls Tuesday to advance to the state D3 title game. The Dodgers scored six runs in the sixth inning and got a strong relief effort from Caden Schneider to nail down the win. Jack Graber had two hits in the big inning, his second single driving in the winning run.
The Dodgers advanced to play Cedar Grove/Belgium for the title and came up short 13-9. They took home the runner up trophy and were welcomed by fire trucks, EMS and law enforcement through Ridgeway and Dodgeville.
