Regarding the Uplands Wind Project: Although it is not explicitly stated, it seems that the 90-day preapplication notice is for the purpose of gathering public feedback. Unfortunately, there is no offically specified way of providing that feedback and Pattern representatives were unable to come to the best-attended public meeting that was partially for that purpose. Without documented feedback, Pattern could say that it encountered no opposition to the proposed project. Therefore, I strongly encourage everyone to write, call, or e-mail the Public Service Commission with their concerns (P.O. Box 7854, Madison, WI 53707-7854). Better yet, create an account with the PSC and attach your concerns directly to case 9840- CE-100. As of this writing, there are only six comments.
