A six run second sandwiched between a pair of two run frames send Cuba City past River Valley 10-5 in a non-conference softball game Tuesday.
Maizey Strobush took the loss for the Blackhawks. She went one inning, allowing six runs on six hits, striking out none and walking none. River Valley collected 10 hits in the game. Ella Myers and Strobush each drove in two runs for River Valley Varsity Blackhawks.
Ashlyn Stokes collected two hits for River Valley in four at bats.
