Highland first baseman Parker Brown was the only Cardinal to manage a base hit in a 16-0 loss to River Ridge in a Six Rivers West game Monday.
The Timberwolves scored all their runs in the first four innings. Ridge had 13 hits.
Blake Reynolds pitched the gem for the Wolves. He struck out seven over five innings.
Kaden Washa, Jack Tarrell and Trapper Hoffman all took a turn on the mound.
Highland also struggled defensively with seven errors.
