Brinleigh Bollant brought the crowd to its feet Friday when she delivered a three run triple that served to knock off Belmont 11-8 in a Six Rivers West softball game.
Bollant had made some noise earlier when she doubled in the second for a 2-1 Cardinals lead. She finished the day 2×4 with five rbis.
Bollant keyed a 12 hit attack that saw Ava Michek go 3×3 and Sumaryn Halverson 2×3 with both getting a pair of rbis and a double.
Cora Healy-Dougherty also had a multiple hit game for the Cardinals when she went 2×4.
Emily Laufenberg, Celia Oleson and Faith Hoffman all had one hit. Halverson went the distance for the Cardinals to earn the win. She gave up 12 hits, eight runs, walked three and struck out one.
