Tenleigh Bockhop and Aida Tuttle threw a combined no hitter as Mineral Point powered past Southwestern 19-0 Monday.

The two pitchers struck out 13 of the 15 Wildcats outs in the SWAL match-up. Bockhop fanned nine and walked one while Tuttle punched out four. Bockhop worked the first three frames and Tuttle the last two.

The Pointers crashed out 18 hits. Austy Kinch pouned a pair of doubles, went 3×4 and drove in four runs. Maddy Kabat was perfect at the plate with a 3×3 day, a double and three rbis.

The Pointers scored nine runs on eight hits in the top of the third inning. Kinch doubled, scoring two runs, Jaydn Schultz singled, scoring one run, Chloe Mc Vay singled, scoring one run, Leah Hoffman singled, scoring two runs, Kabat singled, scoring two more runs, and Kinch singled, scoring one run.

Mineral Point scored six runs on six hits in the top of the fifth inning. Ava Ingwell singled, scoring one run, McVay singled, scoring one run, Stephanie Wallace grounded out, scoring one run, Kendall Wenger doubled, scoring one run, Jaycee Tibbits singled, scoring one run, and Kate James singled, scoring one run. The Pointers piled up 18 hits in the game. Kabat and Kinch each collected three hits. Tuttle, McVay, and Hoffman each had two hits.

The Pointers also took advantage of seven Wildcat walks.
