Keagan Heiser and Quincy Blakley combined to hold Lancaster to three runs and help the Blackhawks to a 4- 3 win in SWC baseball Tuesday.
But it was Blakley’s hitting that provided the deciding run when he singled in the bottom of the seventh for a walk off win. Blakley’s single sent in Uriah S with the game winner. Uriah S had singled to start the frame. He had stolen second and took third on a passed ball to be 90 feet away when Blakley delivered.
Jordan and Jaydon Gauger both had hits as did Drew Riedel.
Lancaster got all three of their runs in the first. The Blackhawks answered with one in the bottom of the first then tied it with a pair of tallies in the fourth. It stayed tied until Blakley delivered.
The Flying Arrows got their three runs off Heiser who spaced eight hits with one walk and two strikeouts over four innings.
Blakley surrendered one hit with a walk and three strikeouts in the three frames he worked.
