River Valley saw a 2-1 lead disappear in the fifth inning when Lancaster scored three runs to win the SWC game 4-2.
River Valley had four hits in the game. Jayden Gauger was 2×3 with Kegan Heiser and Kaden Plumley both adding one.
A steal of home by Gauger put River Valley on the board in the top of the second.
Lancaster tied the game in the bottom of the fourth.
Thr Blackhawks took the lead in the top of the fifth. Plumley scored after tagging up, to give River Valley the lead at 2-1.
Lancaster captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the fifth after River Valley committed a pair of error.
Heiser took the mound first for the Blackhawks. He allowed three hits and four runs (one earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking two.
Quincy Blakley, who finished on the mound, led the Blackhawks with one rbi.
