The Barneveld School District is ready to begin another great school year and is excited to welcome three new members to its staff. Each brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to supporting students and families.
Ellie Wainwright – Kindergarten Teacher
A Blanchardville, Wisconsin, native with 32 years of teaching experience, Ellie Wainwright is joining Barneveld as a kindergarten teacher. When asked why she is excited about teaching in Barneveld, Wainwright shared:
“I am thrilled to bring my experience and passion for Kindergarten to Barneveld while continuing to learn and grow. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to once again work alongside a colleague who has been an important part of my teaching career. The opportunity to teach together again makes this transition especially meaningful. I am grateful for the opportunity to join Barneveld and look forward to all that lies ahead.”
Lisa Pipkorn – Special Education Teacher
Lisa Pipkorn, originally from Loyal, Wisconsin, brings 31 years of experience to her new role as a special education teacher.
Pipkorn said she is excited to join Barneveld because she is “excited to work so close to home in a small, welcoming district.”
Carie Thompson – DPI Early
Literacy Coach
Carie Thompson, a Mondovi, Wisconsin, native with 13 years of experience, will serve as Barneveld’s DPI Early Literacy Coach.
Thompson is looking forward to working with students, teachers, and families to strengthen literacy throughout the district.
“I am excited to join the Barneveld School District as the Early Literacy Coach and look forward to partnering with students, teachers, and families to support every child’s reading journey. Early literacy is the foundation for lifelong learning, and I am deeply committed to ensuring that all
young learners receive the instruction and support they need to become confident, successful readers. Together, I look forward to building on the great work already happening in Barneveld and helping every student reach their fullest potential.”
