It was a cool but not very windy day as people lined the streets for the Annual Avoca St. Patrick’s Day Parade last Saturday, even though the official celebration, complete with wearing green and enjoying corned beef and cabbage, was still three days away. Festivities began early at local beverage spots and the old school, then continued back at the Old School House following the parade.
