John "Jack" Leo O'Flahrity

John "Jack" Leo O'Flahrity, age 94, of Dodgeville, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Jack was born on February 21, 1929 in Chicago to Thomas and Mary (Shea) O'Flahrity. He married Bonnie Aide on July 30, 1952. Jack worked for the Cobb Lumber Company and did carpentry work throughout the area. He was proud to have served as a volunteer fireman on the Cobb Fire Department for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Bonnie; three children: J. Lee (Jean) O'Flahrity, J. Timothy O'Flahrity and Peggy O'Flahrity; Daughter-in-law Jane O'Flahrity; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Rita (Dave) Darota, and brothers-in law, Bill (Janet) Aide and Ronnie (Dianne) Aide; as well as many nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Thomas Patrick; brothers-in-law Bob Aide and Clifford (Margret) Aide and sister-in-law Donna Rae (Earl) Welsh.  

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will be served following the services at DodgerBowl, 318 King St., Dodgeville. Online condolence may be made at www.houckfuneralhomes.com
