Thank you!

Dear Editor;
In this season of gratitude, I want to send out a special thank you to the guys directing traffic at the Lands' End vaccination clinic last Thursday. They had to stand outside for hours in freezing temperatures with a fierce wind and occasional snow flurries.
More generally. I want to thank the Iowa County Department of Health and all the workers and volunteers involved in the many COVID vaccination clinics throughout the year. It was a massive effort, well-designed and well-executed, from the sign up process that was quick and easy even for technophobes like me, to the very clear signage at the convenient locations, to the actual running of the clinics.
I got my first two doses at Upland Hills and my booster at Lands' End. Everyone I encountered, from the folks shepherding us through the process, to the people checking us in, to the nurses giving the shots, was very cheerful and efficient. I know that in other places, the vaccination clinics were not so timely or friendly or easy to access, so I am especially grateful to live in Iowa County.
Thank you all!
