Dodgeville’s volleyball team faced the SWC’s top team last Tuesday and lost to Platteville in three sets.
Scores were 15-25, 8-25, 15-25 First year Dodgeville coach Kaelyn Dvork felt her team took a step forward even though Platteville took the sweep.
“We played well overall,”Dvork said. “The second set was rough, but I told the girls that they have grown so much since the beginning of the season. They started running plays, even when we were down, and I think having that confidence will help them grow even more as the season progresses. It’s fun to see them put the pieces from practice together when it’s game time.”
