July 21, 2026, Herbert A. Becker III walked his final earthly path on his journey to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, joining his parents and sister. Herbert A. Becker III, age 69, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by loving family at Aurora Medical Center of Washington County. He was born February 21, 1957, to parents Herbert and Joan (Kelly) Becker, the second of eleven children, and grew up on the family farm in Iron Ridge.
The foundation of his faith was formed with the water and word of Christ through baptism and his confirmation at St John’s Lutheran Church, Woodland, WI. He continued to grow his faith and was a lifetime member at St John’s. Upon graduating from Hustisford High School in 1977, Herbert worked in the agricultural industry and was often found assisting family members on their farms until recent health issues made it challenging. Then, he found peace in the many extended walks on the farm, where he would assess the progress of the growing fields while the seasons changed.
Herbert enjoyed community involvement through participation in church dart ball leagues and various church committees, entering open class items into the Dodge County Fair, gardening, hunting and visiting with family and friends.
Herbert is survived by his siblings: Cynthia Zills, Debra (Chris) Neitzel, Linda (Dave) Rader, Timothy (Lisa) Becker, David Becker, Jeffery (Charlene) Becker, Sarah Becker, Lisa (Greg) Mueller, and Rebecca Becker. Herbert is also God Father to Lori Bain, Adam Rader, and Randy Zills.
Proceeding him in death are his parents Herbert and Joan Becker, a sister Patricia Becker and brother-in-law Robert Zills.
A Christian graveside memorial service will be led by Pastor James Castillo for immediate family at the Hustisford Cemetery on August 15, 2026.
