Yvonne was born August 10, 1966, in St. Louis, MO. Her family moved to Montfort, WI when she was 6 joining Christ Lutheran Church (Highland) making many special friends. She enjoyed family camping trips and visiting with friends and relatives in St. Louis and Prairietown, IL areas. Yvonne attended Montfort Elementary and graduated from Iowa-Grant School District in 1984, where she actively participated in many co-curriculars including cheerleading, band, and softball, and was on Homecoming Court junior year and Class Officer senior year. As a Montfort lifeguard and swim instructor, her passion for mentoring the youth shined from an early age. Yvonne then attended UW-LaCrosse where she graduated with a teaching degree and obtained her master’s from Viterbo. She impacted many young lives throughout the Waterloo, Columbus, and Randolph schools to name a few, and was recognized as an author in the “Gifted and Talented Resource Guide for Wisconsin Public Schools”.

Yvonne enjoyed reading book series and keeping up with sports headlines. She attended countless Badger football, basketball, and hockey games and was an avid Packers, Brewers, and Bucks fan – and even a St. Louis Cardinals fan like her Grandpa Gogue. During her marriage she was blessed with two children, Jenna and Christopher, whom she loved to the moon and back and shared many of her passions. She treasured vacations, youth sports, and school band concerts. Yvonne always had a heart for animals and leaves behind her sidekick, Luna, the cat.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Jenna (Nick Hotmar); son, Christopher; beloved grandson, Noah; parents, Ralph and Laura Meyer; sister, Shonda (Scott) Crapp; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends who love her very much.
