It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julie A. Porteous, on June 6th, 2026, at the age of 50 years old, unexpectedly in the comfort of her home. She was born on January 5th, 1976, in Dodgeville, WI.
Today, we choose to remember not the struggles that took her from us, but the beautiful person she was. The funny, loving, unforgettable woman who touched so many lives.
She had a remarkable ability to make people smile. Whether through a perfectly timed joke, a witty comment, or simply her infectious laugh, she brought joy to countless lives. Her warmth, kindness, and caring heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all else, she loved her family deeply. Her children, grandchildren, and loved ones were always in her heart, and the memories she created with them will be cherished forever. Though her journey was not always easy, she faced many hardships with courage and continued to share love whenever she could.
She is survived by her mother Cecile A. (Davies) Fingerson (John Rolli) and her father Steven Fingerson. She leaves behind her four children: Taylor R. Fingerson (Courtney Lenzendorf), McKayla A. Hoffman (Joseph Hermenson), Kiley A. Hoffman, and Caden M.J Porteous; as well as four grandchildren: Kingston D.K. Hermanson, Audrey J. Hermanson, Jaiden N. Clark Jr., Braxton J. Hermanson; a fur grandchild: Max Fingerson; along with a stepbrother Joseph J. Rolli (Jackie Rolli) and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Porteous, stepbrother Josh Rolli and grandparents.
Though her battle has ended, her laughter, love, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
