Mesa, AZ / Mineral Point – Carol Ann Randall, age 83, joined our Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Carol was born to Ercill and Mae (Rakow) Bowen on August 13, 1942 in Beaver Dam, WI. She grew up in Avoca, WI graduating from Avoca High School in 1960. The last graduating class from that school.
She married William Randall in 1960. They farmed for many years and had 3 children.
In 1994, she moved to Mesa, Arizona, where she enjoyed the sunshine until recently, when her health required her more care.
Carol is survived by her daughter Robin (Dave) Daughenbaugh, of Richland Center; her son Jason (Terri) Randall of Coquille, OR; her son-in-law Alan McCarthy of Highland; her grandchildren William and Dustin Daughenbaugh, Brittany (A.J.) McCarty, Brandon, Sean, Andrew and Kaelee Randall, Hannah and Simon McCarthy; her great grandchildren Faith Daughenbaugh, Zoey and Zaya McCarty; her sister Norma (Tom Draves) Bowen; her sister-in-law Pat Bowen; her aunt Marie Rakow; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Rachel McCarthy, her parents, her siblings Donna Johnson, Elizabeth Faga, John Bowen, James Bowen, her former husband William Randall and special friend O.D. (Patch) Black.
A special thank you to niece Pam and her husband Ray Hildreth and Kim, Jason and Emma Kitelinger for loving and caring for Grandma Carol until the end of her life.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. at the OLD AVOCA HIGH SCHOOL, Avoca, WI.
