Belmont wore their hitting shoes and took down Pecatonica 15-2 in a recent Six Rivers softbal game.
Kiana York and Brooklyn Johnsrud each had a hit for the Vikings – Johnsrud and Chloe Bocklund each drove in a run. Cayla Doescher stole two bases.
Jenna Kurschner and Sam Hittesdorf both pitched for the Vikings. Hittesdorf went four before giving way to Kurschner.
