Kayahna Furrer reached the fences in the fourth inning to give Fennimore a 1-0 lead that held up and gave Mineral Point a loss in SWAL softball.
The blast was one of only two hits given up by Pointer hurler Tenleigh Bockhop. Bockhop ended the game with eight strikeouts and one walk. The Pointers had three hits, all singles by Maddy Kabat, Chloe McVay and Kendall Wenger.
