The Bullets took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, saw the Aces tie it up in the seventh then plating what proved to be the gamewinner in the bottom f the frame for a 2-1 HTL Western Section win Sunday.
Most of the section was rained out with only Muscoda and Wiota joining Blanchardville and Arena in games played.
Brooks Chandler walked and scored on a hit by Kyle Kleppe for the Bullets run in the first.
Then a pitching match-up followed with Nate Jennings for the Aces and Drew Schliem for the Bullets.
The Aces tied it when Zach Cady opened the seventh with a walk and came around to score on a wild pitch.
The aces wasted no time in answering, scoring in the bottom of the seventh. The same two who manufactured the first run combined for the game winner.
Chandler was nicked by a pitch and Kleppe doubled him in.
Kleppe and Peter Gustafson both went 3×4 with Hunter Enloe and AJ Hendrickson adding one each.
Nate Jennings, Trey Schulte and Max Miles had the three Aces hits, all singles.
Schliem went six shutout innings for the Bullets. He gave up two hits while walking one and striking out two.
Enloe went next and gave up the lone Aces run. He gave up the unearned run with two walks and two strikeouts.
Dakota Doescher got the win as he finished the final frame. He gave up one hit and fanned two.
Nate Jennings worked five innings, giving up one run, five hits, while walking two and striking out five.
Daniel Yanke finished the last three. He gave up one run, three hits and struck out four.
