Dodgeville’s golf team finished in second place five strokes behind Platteville Thursday at Richland Center in a SWC conference meet played at Quail Run Golf Links. Platteville’s 18-hole team score was 311, Dodgeville shot 316. River Valley and Lancaster tied for third place with a team score of 330.
Platteville’s Cole Herbst was medalist shooting a one-over-par 71. Dodgeville’s Connor Hottmann and Nate Blalock both shot a 74 to lead the Dodgers. River Valley’s Dayne Moser led his team carding a 77.
