Ashlyn Stokes fashioned a two hit shutout win over Prairie du Chien for the River Valley softball team in SWC play Monday.
Stokes struck out four and walked two. She finished the game with 97 pitches.
The Blackhawks scored a run in the second and added two more in both the fourth and fifth for the 5-0 win.
Nahalia Willey was 2×3 to lead the Hawks. Brooklyn Stokes, Alyssa Nachreiner and Kyllie Smith all had hits and drove in runs. Josie Mahoney drove in a run and Bella DeViney had a hit.
PdC had four errors, all leading to runs. None of PdC’s runs were earned.
