Portage too much for Dodgers

The Dodgeville softball team saw host Portage put up 11 runs in an 11-3 non-conference game Monday.

Bree Wunnicke and Mikayla Lathrop both doubled for the Dodgers with Lathrop the leading hitter with a 2×4 day at the plate.

Addison Reilly and Tia Crubaugh had the rest of the five Dodger hits.

Kendra Brom got the start in the circle for the Dodgers. She went five innings, surrendering seven runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out none and walking two. Brienna Wasley finished with three hits, four runs (three earned) with one walk in one inning.

Lathrop led the Dodgers with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.

Wunnicke and Lathrop both had an rbi.
